Livelihood & Economic Empowerment

We are poised to improve the livelihood and economic development of the poor, but economically active people, especially those in hard-to-reach communities. CLICE Foundation ensures women, men and youth have decent work by facilitating access to training and opportunities that will enable them to have access to sustainable livelihood. CLICE Foundation also works with partners to facilitate access to improved and appropriate technologies for economic development across different value chains (both agricultural and non-agricultural value chains).

Pro-poor interventions are designed and implemented based on needs assessment of beneficiaries who are the primary stakeholders, addressing the root causes of their problems therefore avoiding the risks of addressing the symptoms instead of the root causes of their problems.

These interventions are implemented, leveraging private sector resources to accelerate greater impact. This approach ensures increased involvement of the Private Sector in driving sustainable development and inclusive economic growth in Africa.

We facilitate Rural Market Financing by linking private investors to investable business opportunities in rural communities. Also, we facilitate Market Linkages for high profile Agribusinesses to off-take agricultural and non-agricultural produce (based on the off-takers specification) directly from farmers.
